Book Publishing in Latin America, session four

“The Publishing History of a Literary Life: A Conversation with Sandra Cisneros” 

We will have the honor of talking with Sandra Cisneros about her relationship with the publishing world from the beginning of her career to the present: how her first book, The House on Mango Street, came to be published, the transition from an independent publishing house like Arte Público Press to a large group like Random House,  the role of her literary agents and editors in her career, and finally the importance of the translation and publication of her works in Spanish.
