On Thursday, February 27, Nicolás Campisi (Georgetown University) will visit to give a book talk on The Return of the Contemporary: The Latin American Novel in the End Times (2024, U Pittsburgh Press, Illuminations Series). This book is a major intervention into the fields of post-dictatorship studies, the environmental humanities, and the contemporary Latin American novel.
The event will begin at 4:30pm in HQ 107, and will feature two discussants: our own Katherina Frangi alongside Tess Renker (Georgetown University). Refreshments will be provided.
